ROWENA MCALLISTER

Project Manager

Rowena brings to COI over 20 years of experience in international market research, administration and marketing support. Born and raised in the U.K., Rowena began her career in export development with the U.K. Chamber of Commerce movement, leading commercial trade missions to Hungary, Belgium and Portugal and providing support services to companies in their export efforts. After emigrating to the U.S. in 1995, Rowena set up a freelance consulting business, working with European and US-based clients to support their marketing teams. This work has included providing market research, undertaking global agent and distributor searches and acting as interpreter on sales visits. Rowena’s experience is wide-ranging covering multiple sectors of industry and commerce, including logistics, financial services, scientific equipment, packaging, printing and analytical software. Since joining COI, Rowena has further developed the company’s relationships with Universities and Business Schools and managed several business development initiatives.

Rowena speaks three languages and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Dual Honors) degree in French and German from Coventry University in the U.K. and a postgraduate qualification in company administration.
